Welcome to Your Jewish Community

Limmud Atlanta + SE is a unique Jewish community: a place where the agenda is set by volunteers for volunteers – by you. LimmudFest is a place where you are encouraged to be creative, take risks: try new things. Everyone teaches and everyone learns. Everyone is responsible for the experience this weekend. You make it happen. That’s why there are no participants or volunteers at LimmudFest: instead, everyone is a volunticipant

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Are you curious about bees? Are you intrigued by the idea of having your own hives? About collecting your own honey? Ross will give a primer on bees and beekeeping, just in time for the honey you'll want for Rosh Hashanah. You'll learn about different bees, how to get your hives started, what to do once you've got thousands and thousands of bees in your backyard, and then what to do when you have gallons and gallons of honey. You'll also learn how to handle skeptical family members and neighbors! Beekeeping is an easy, inexpensive way to get into urban farming.
