Welcome to Your Jewish Community

Limmud Atlanta + SE is a unique Jewish community: a place where the agenda is set by volunteers for volunteers – by you. LimmudFest is a place where you are encouraged to be creative, take risks: try new things. Everyone teaches and everyone learns. Everyone is responsible for the experience this weekend. You make it happen. That’s why there are no participants or volunteers at LimmudFest: instead, everyone is a volunticipant

Our Bodies, Our Stories: Jewish Women and Beauty

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

CANCELLED. "I'm giving my daughter a nose-job for her bat mitzvah gift."

Come explore the unique experiences we have as Jewish women with body image, beauty, and self-esteem. We'll look at the ways Jewish culture and family life influences how we feel about our bodies. Using movement, art, and story-telling, we'll explore our own beauty, share stories, and create a Beauty Manifesto. You'll experience your body in a new way, and leave with new energy and perspective.

*Note: this workshop is open to anyone who identifies as a Jewish woman (trans-inclusive).
